Orofer syrup comprises iron polymaltose, which is a macro-molecular complex of iron (III) hydroxide and isomaltose. Iron carries oxygen across the body and retains red blood cells, making a person, feel energetic and avoiding anemia. The blood does not efficiently carry oxygen without iron. It also reuses iron from red blood cells that are aged.
