- Bactigen Eye Drop is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat eye infections.
- It is used to treat infection of the cornea (a transparent layer that covers the front part of the eye) and conjunctivitis or pink eye caused by bacteria.
- It kills or prevents the growth of bacteria causing the infection.
- It is not effective against eye infections caused by viruses.
- Once an antibiotic is started, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment.
- For the ease of remembering, use Bactigen Eye Drops around the same time every day.
