- The active ingredient of Allermine Syrup is Chlopheniramine maleate USP 2mg/ 5ml.
- Chlorpheniramine maleate is α H1 receptor antagonist (antihistamine) and is used primarily for symptomatic relief of hypersensitive reactions such as urticaria, angioedema, rhinitis, conjunctivitis and also to control pruritus associated with skin disorders.
- Chlorpheniramine maleate provides rapid onset of action and relief of symptoms that lasts 4 to 6 hours.
- Allermine Syrup is alcohol-free and a Mint flavored syrup.
